The catalogue is divided into sections, each reprinting the catalogue of a major slide supplier with whom the UKBHU dealt in 1891:

[First section]: 16 pages numbered 1-16, listing lanterns and other hardware and alphabetical index to the slide sets in other sections.

[Second section]: 10 pages, 2 unnumbered then 1-8, listing three UKBHU slide sets and giving directions for use of lanterns, limelight and gases.

Section A: Wrench and Son, 37 pages numbered 1-36 with one unnumbered at the front

Section B: York and Son, 160 pages numbered 1-160

Section C: Bamforth, 59 pages numbered 3-61

Section D: G.W. Wilson, 40 unnumbered pages

Section E: unidentified (possibly Alfred Underhill), 8 pages numbered 1-8

Section F: Alfred Pumphrey, 3 unnumbered pages

Section G: Sciopticon Company (Woodbury slides), 20 pages numbered 1-20

Section H: Valentine and Sons, 26 pages numbered 1-26
