The slide numbers are handwritten on the top edge, along with the title 'INDO-AFGHAN'. Not all the slides are numbered, many of the numbers are unclear, and a few appear to be repeated.

The slides are shown here in the order in which they were found in the Manchester Museum Collection, and some further work is needed to establish the original order.
