Notes

Generally known as 'Janie', her married surname was Sandford. She lived in Holmfirth until her death in 1963, and contributed notes, slides and postcards to the collection now held in Huddersfield.
As a girl and young woman she appeared in numerous slide sets and postcards, and also worked in the Bamforth studio to help 'direct' the models, particularly children.
